The Sonic Runway was the inaugural installation for a multi-year partnership between the San José Office of Cultural Affairs and the Burning Man Project to bring Burning Man art to public spaces in San José under the banner of 'Playa to Paseo'.
Placed in front of San José City Hall, designed by famed architect, Richard Meier, the Sonic Runway stretch over 450' with 25 arches and was active each night from 5pm-12midnight.
